The problems Bookupy fixes
The whiteboard is out of date
Jobs move, people go off sick, and the board in the office never matches what's happening on site.
“Is anyone on their way?”
Customers ring the office to ask, and the office has to ring the lads to find out.
Double-booked engineers
Two jobs land on the same person at the same time and nobody notices until the morning.
Built for construction firms
A column for every engineer
Day view with one column per engineer, a week view, and an unassigned list for new requests. Drag a job to reassign or move it.
Clash warnings, fixed in one tap
Bookupy flags any job that overlaps another for the same engineer, including jobs that run over several days. Fix clashes moves the later jobs back, leaving real drive time between postcodes, and shows you the changes before anything is saved.
Engineer phone links
Each engineer gets a private link, with no password and no app to install. They see today's jobs, tap for directions or to call the customer, and press On my way, Arrived and Job done.
The board updates itself
When an engineer taps a button, the office board updates. The board also shows the drive time between jobs and warns when there isn't enough time to get there.
Their week by text every Friday
With the text add-on, each engineer gets a text at 7pm on Friday with a link to next week's jobs. You can also send it again from the desk at any time.
Customer job requests
Your public page has a Request a job form. Requests land in your unassigned list and you get an email and phone alert.
How it works
Add your engineers and opening hours, then add jobs or let customers request them from your page. Assign each job to an engineer and send them their phone link. With the optional text add-on, customers get a text when their job is booked and when the engineer is on the way, plus a reminder the day before.
One simple price, £8.99 a month
The base plan has a 30-day free trial. After that it's £8.99 a month for the whole business, with no commission and no per-engineer fees. Clients never pay to use it.

Do engineers need an app or a password?

Can a job run over several days?
Yes. Give the job a length in hours and it runs across your working hours on the following days.
Do engineers get their jobs by text?
Yes, with the optional £5 a month text add-on. Every Friday at 7pm each engineer with a mobile number gets a text with a link to next week's jobs. Engineers with no jobs booked aren't texted.
Is the price per engineer?
No. It's £8.99 a month for the whole business, however many engineers you add.
Can I see a demo?
Yes. Open the live demo board at bookupy.com/demo/field to see a made-up firm with three engineers.
