Terms of service

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms apply to businesses that use Bookupy and to anyone who books through a Bookupy booking page. By using Bookupy you agree to them.

About Bookupy

Bookupy is an online booking service run by Daniel Dyer in the UK. Contact: hello@bookupy.com.

For businesses

  • Your account. You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity under your account, including logins you create for your team.
  • Price and trial. Bookupy costs £8.99 a month, with an optional text reminders add-on at £4.99 a month. New accounts get the first month free. Prices are shown before you subscribe, and we'll give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
  • Payment. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe. If a payment fails, we may pause online booking until it's sorted.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for and isn't refunded part-way, unless the law says otherwise.
  • Your customers. You're responsible for your services, prices, cancellation rules and dealings with your customers, and for using their data lawfully. We process customer booking data on your behalf as described in our privacy policy.
  • Acceptable use. Don't use Bookupy for anything unlawful, to send spam, or in a way that harms the service or other users. We may suspend accounts that do.

For customers who book

  • Your booking is with the business, not with Bookupy. The business provides the service, sets its prices and cancellation rules, and you pay the business directly.
  • Booking through Bookupy is free for customers.
  • To change or cancel, use the link in your confirmation email or contact the business.

Our service

We work hard to keep Bookupy available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features over time.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or missed bookings, and our total liability to a business in any 12 months is limited to the fees it paid us in that period. If you're a consumer, you keep all your statutory rights.

Ending the service

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or close the service with reasonable notice. You can ask us for a copy of your data before your account closes.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell businesses about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, though if you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings where you live.
